The landscape is vector art with cool and warm colors to show contrast and visual hierarchy within the piece. The warm colors are on the side of the buildings that get hit by the sun to show realism. The overall composition is in the middle of the city to show its entirety so the viewer gets the whole package of what they would be seeing on their trip. The message is to see what's inside all of the hidden streets of the city. Some other vector art pieces are the Chinese theatre, Hollywood Hills, and the Rodeo Drive sign to show what cool activities and landmarks are to be seen. I used a sans serif font face called "Trade Gothic Next" because sans serif is more modern and minimal which emphasizes the modern and edgy city.
